Every project tells a story, and finding the right voice to guide your audience is where effective storytelling begins. My vocal style has been described as that of a natural storyteller with an engaging cinematic quality. I present a rich, resonant, mid-baritone pitch, allowing me to balance a natural warmth with inherent authority.
Whether I am pacing the cinematic narrative of a documentary, building a nuanced character for a radio drama, translating complex data into an engaging e-learning module, or pitching a retail product or service, my focus is always on connection and clarity.
Based out of my broadcast-quality home studio, I provide clients with clean, professional audio and quick turnarounds. I always strive to bring a cooperative and collaborative attitude into the booth, recognizing that every project, large or small, requires a team effort.

A Life Behind the Microphone
I was voicing commercials, for local businesses, in my first job out of school - as a booth announcer at my hometown CBS-affiliate TV station.
I moved on to be a Top 40 DJ until my interest in current events landed me in the newsroom. What followed was an award winning career in radio and television news.
When I discovered hot air ballooning as a hobby, I used my broadcasting/storytelling skills to launch myself as a sports commentator, voicing balloon events across the US and in the UK, a freelance gig I continue to enjoy.
In the 20-teens I began to explore my Scottish ancestry and jumped on the podcasting bandwagon, writing, producing, and hosting my own interview show, Under The Tartan Sky. Over six years the show gained 12,000 subscribers reaching listeners in 89 countries worldwide.
In short, I feel most at home when behind the microphone and I look forward to giving voice to your vision.
